During her two decades as a passionate attorney (including about a dozen years in immigration), Julia Guzman has become known as a community leader and family-based immigration expert. She has always endeavored to help empower people to solve their problems, while offering her own wisdom, knowledge and compassion. As a native Spanish-speaker and Latina daughter of immigrants, Julia Guzman shares a culture and language with many of her clients. She also speaks French fluently, allowing her to connect directly with most clients in their native languages.
 

Award-winning attorney Guzman received her Juris Doctor from top-tier Georgetown University Law Center after her undergraduate BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin (Plan II/French major, Spanish minor). Julia is currently Vice Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association of Colorado (AILA-CO), and sits on the board of Immigrant Pathways Colorado, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Global committee of the YMCA-Metro Denver. She has law licenses in Colorado and Texas. When she is not helping the immigrant community, Julia enjoys singing, dancing, photography, exploring gorgeous Colorado, podcasting (13 years on the Castle of Horror Podcast!), and relaxing at home with her husband of 30 years, two grown kids and two little dogs. She feels so grateful for all the opportunities she has had and is passionate about her commitment to her community.
